She runs off, leaving Elliot alone in the building. What fear exactly? Who knows? We all have them. “Will anyone care if you die?” he asks Bill. Elliot freezes up, then has a vision - it’s his mother, throwing him to the ground and embarrassing him. Robot and the gang implore him to get inside Bill’s head and make him call a manager. Bill can only get Elliot access to level one, and he needs level two, so Mr. A simple Wikipedia hack and they’re in.Įlliot’s tour guide is Bill, a lonely type who has cats and middle management written all over him. They bump into a guy, steal his key card info, then Elliot heads to the main desk and asks for a tour. Elliot’s cruel speech to the poor schlub Bill isn’t about BillĮlliot and the fsociety bros head up to Stone Mountain to get inside its “impenetrable” data security center, and let me just say that it is shockingly easy to get into an impenetrable data security center. But anytime you put anything out there, the show keeps telling us, it’s out there. Elliot, like Fernando and his doofus brother, thought he was being careful, too. In his cell, later, it all comes together. That’s a good sign.įernando sees a photo in the evidence file of a table with pills on it and a gun. Robot is at the point where’s it has rendered its world so well that a street dealer can say things like that and it’s buyable. It’s a ridiculous thing to say and I believed it completely. That is the opposite of careful.” And with that one line we get our first on-screen legal analysis of the old adage: “ Never tweet.”įernando finds out that he was fingered by an anonymous tipster, and explains that he needs to hurt that person in order to restore balance to the universe.
